Hi guys, I will help you building your own water level sensor for any water tank you have even with zero knowledge of electronics. AMA
It's very easy and simple, so let's see what's the components I used
- 4 or 5 LEDs
- 10k ohm resistors
- Small battery 9 volts
- Long cable with 4 or 5 wires inside
- 1 meter wood bar is shown on the pic
- Short wires for connection
if you have electronics background please do the following:
Connect all LEDs in parallel with the battery, And connect negative terminal to the wires in the cable, then hold them on the bar and put it on your tank
If you don't have any background please go to my blog, read all details here
this is my tank
this is how you connect the cables wires to the bar [ and those wires are connected to each LED]
this is the bar after you connect all wires in the cable to the LEDs and hold them on it.
This will be your board to put it for example in your bathroom or kitchen
Generally you can replace this battery every 1 month
Please if you want more details or videos they're here
I'm available to answer any questions, cheers.
